Your Customs Broker in Israel should ask you to complete 2 seperate declarations to Customs - one with the goods you exported a year ago and one with the goods you bought while overseas. A valuation of ~ US$1500 - $1600 is appropriate / expected for 8 cubic meters. You will be charged about 31% (to be exact 30.6%) of the declared value *plus* the costs of ocean freight. Some items like books and computers are taxed at 17% only.
